Description

This folding knife dating from 1722 is engraved on the lintel of a house in Cambo-Les-Bains in the Basque Country. Its shape echoes that of the traditional Basque discoid stele.

Flat notch” system. Handle in Basque ewe horn. 12C27 stainless steel blade. Guillochage of 7 “S” on the top of the blade, representing the seven Basque provinces. Engraving of the Basque cross (Lauburu) on the left-hand stele.
