The system, dating from the 12th century, is known as the “two-nail” system, with a pin to allow the blade to pivot and a stop to stop it in the open position.
12c27 stainless steel blade. Basque ram’s horn handle. Guillochage on the top of the blade of 7 “S” representing the seven Basque provinces.
Basque cross (Lauburu) engraved on the handle in the old-fashioned red-iron style.
