Shape inspired by the traditional knives of the Basque shepherds of the Middle Ages. The “sage leaf” blade is one of the oldest shapes in the Pyrenees.
The system, which dates back to the 12th century, is known as the “two-nail” system, with a pin to allow the blade to rotate and a stop to stop it in the open position. Stainless steel blade 12c27. Handle in magnificent flamed blond horn. Guillochage on the top of the blade of 7 “S” representing the seven Basque provinces.
