Folding knife inspired by the shape of the Makila, a traditional Basque stick. Created in our workshop in 2009. Handle and pommel made of juniper wood.
The pommel is engraved with the traditional Basque cross (Lauburu). The handle has antique motifs of the first Makilas.
Untempered XC75 carbon steel blade. The upper part of the blade is guilloched with seven “E” of Euskal Herri (Basque Country) representing the 7 Basque provinces.
Dimensions: knife length closed: 125 mm. Open knife length: 220 mm.
Brass ferrules fixed and rotating.
The knife shown in the photo is the one you will receive.
