Description
The Senta Maria is inspired by an early form of folding knife made in Oloron Sainte Marie, Pyrénées-Atlantiques (Béarn) in the 19th century.
The “Pique”, “Haudeville” and “Sassus” cutlers made it mainly for the Spanish market.
It has a yatagan-shaped blade and a long handle ending in a rattlesnake tail.
The Anglet workshop has resurrected this knife from the Oloron region. The model presented here has a fully-fashioned handle in blond zebu horn.
Rotating and fixed brass ferrule system.
Blade in untempered XC75 carbon steel with guilloche pattern on the top of the blade.
Open: 230mm, closed: 130mm. The model pictured is the one you will receive.
