Description
Shape inspired by traditional Basque shepherd’s knives dating from the Middle Ages. The “sage leaf” blade is one of the oldestshapes in the Pyrenees.
The system is known as the “two-nail” system. One pin allows the blade to pivot, the other stops the blade in the open position. The handle is made of Basque ewe’s horn, black-headed manex.
Unhardened XC 75 carbon steel blade. Guillochage on the top of the blade of the 7 “S” representing the 7 Basque provinces.
