Large Basque knife made of ram’s horn

This folding knife from 1722 is engraved on the lintel of a house in Cambo-Les-Bains. Its shape is reminiscent of the traditional Basque discoid stele. Handle of Basque ram’shorn. Stainless steel blade 12C27. Guillochage of the blade with 7 “S” representing the 7 Basque provinces.
