DESCRIPTION

Folding Basque knife inspired by the shape of the Makila, a traditional Basque stick. Created in our workshop since 2009.

Black buffalo horn handle. The black horn pommel is engraved with the traditional Basque cross (Lauburu). The handle features ancient motifs from the very first Makilas.

Blade in 67-layer Japanese suminagashi stainless steel. Dimensions: closed knife length: 125 mm. Open knife length: 220 mm. Fixed and rotating brass ferrules. The top of the blade is guilloched with seven “E” for Euskal Herri (Basque Country) and its seven provinces.
