DESCRIPTION

Folding Basque knife inspired by the shape of the Makila, a traditional Basque stick. Created in our workshop since 2009.

Handle in padouk wood. The padouk pommel is engraved with the traditional Basque cross (Lauburu). The handle features ancient motifs from the very first Makilas.

Blade in 12c27 stainless steel. Dimensions: closed knife length: 125 mm. Open knife length: 220 mm. Fixed and rotating brass ferrules. The top of the blade is guilloched with seven “E” for Euskal Herri (Basque Country) and its seven provinces.
