This name was given to it because the shape of the back of the handle is reminiscent of a monk’s hood. Traditional “2-nail” system.

Black horn handle. Unhardened XC75 carbon steel blade. Guillochage on blade. Engraving of the Basque cross (Lauburu) on the end of the handle, left side.

Dimensions: knife length closed: 100 mm. Open knife length: 175 mm.
