The embossed handle housed a veterinary point (called a “flame”) used to pierce animal abscesses. We now make this knife without the tip.
Guiana snakewood handle.
Blade in unhardened XC75 carbon steel. Guillochage on the top of the blade of 7 “S” representing the seven Basque provinces. Dimensions: closed knife length: 115 mm. Open knife length: 200 mm.
