DESCRIPTION
The Brise-lame takes the shape of a Basque knife made by Jean Dufourcq, a cutler in Saint Jean de Luz until 1909, who also made Makilas (the Basque stick).
The blade is yatagan-shaped, in 12C27 stainless steel. Guillochage on the top of the blade with 7 “S” representing the seven Basque provinces.
Flat lock system. Cow horn handle. Dimensions: knife length closed: 110 mm. Length open knife: 205 mm.
