An authentic family-run artisanal cutlery workshop
Christophe & Séverine, a passionate knife-making duo
In their Jorlis workshop, on the banks of the Adour River, Christophe and Séverine work side by side, combining their gestures and know-how. He forges each blade using ancestral techniques; she shapes the handles, assembles and fine-tunes each piece, and welcomes customers. Their partnership, forged over the years, is the true signature of Couteau Basque.

The artisanal soul of the true Basque knife
Between the Atchinetche Canal and the Adour River, our workshop carries on the legacy of a 1930s forge. It is here, in this place steeped in history, that our forged blades and one-of-a-kind pieces are brought to life.
